The death occurred suddenly on Monday morning of Mr Henry Evans, Penmount Place, at the age of 55. Deceased was employed as clerk at the Railway Station and was secretary of the local Court of Foresters, and member and Sunday School teacher at Penmount Chapel. He appeared to be in his usual health on Sunday and attended three services but was taken ill 10 p.m. Dr. S. W. Griffith was called in but death supervened at 5 o'clock in the morning. He leaves a wife and sister, with whom sincere sympathy is felt.
