OBITUARY.
Miss Elizabeth Jones, of Benar, Abarsoch, parsed away last week, at the age of 69, after a painful illness. Deceased was well-known in Abersoch, and was a sister of Mrs Jones and Miss Grace Jones, of the Prince of Wales Hotel, Criccieth.The funeral, which was private, took place on Monday, the interment being at Abererch Churchyard. The Rev. J. Mostyn Jones conducted a brief service at Benar, and the Vicar of Abererch (the Rev. David Jones) officiated at the graveside.
The mourners were Mrs Jones and Miss Grace Jones (sisters), Miss Maggie Jones, Nantlle, and Miss M. E. Jones, Criccieth (nieces); Messrs Robert and Wm. Jones, Glanmorfa, and J. Parry, Whitehall Hotel, Pwllheli; John Evans, Liver; Amos Ellis, Felin; Wm. Owen, Central Stores; D. C. Ellis, Criccieth; John Evans, Cae Pwllhalog; and Thomas Owen, Criccieth.
