DEATH OF AN OLD INHABITANT.
On Thursday, July 31st, the death occurred of Mr Robert Jones, Ty Mawr, near Llanbedrog, at the of 95. He was the oldest inhabitant of an extensive district.He was a butcher by trade and the first to rent a stall in the market place which he kept for many years.
He leaves three daughters and two sons, also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral took place at Llanbedrog Cemetery on Tuesday, when the Rev. Griffith Jones, Llangian Parsonage officiated, assisted by the Rev. Wynne Lloyd Jones (grandson), curate of Llandudno.
The mourners were the Rev. Robert Jones, rector of Hen Eglwys, Anglesey, and Mr William Jones, New-street, Pwllheli (sons); Mrs Thomas, Salem-terrace, Pwllheli (daughter) Mrs Edwards, Rhosbach Farm, Llannor (daughter) and Messrs Robert Edwards, Willie Thomas, James Ward, and James Ellis (grandsons).
