Funeral of Miss Hunter Hughes.

The funeral of Miss Hunter Hughes, Aelybryn, Llanbedrog, who died at the age of eighty one years, took place on Friday at Abererch Churchyard.

Miss Hughes comes of one of the oldest families in Pwllheli and at one time took a keen interest in the public life of the town especially in providing for the wants of the aged poor. She was the eldest daughter of the late Dr. Hunter Hughes, Penmaen, who was a coroner for South Carnarvonshire for many years and was followed in the office by his son, the late Dr. T. Hunter Hughes. The late Dr. Evans Hughes. J.P. Nevin, was also her brother, and Mrs. Walters, Argoed, Llanbedrog, the deceased's sister, is the only member of the family left alive.

The funeral was private, those present being Colonel and Mrs, Lloyd Evans, Broom Hall; Dr. H. R. Griffiths, Nevin; Dr. R. Jones Evans, Pwllheli and Mr. Arthen O. Owen.

The Revs. H. J. Manley. Cynfelin Jones, and David Jones officiated.
