LLYTHYR.
Yr wythnos ddiweddaf derbyniodd Mr. John Davies, Ty'nymynydd, y llythyr a ganlyn: -Royal Air Force, Headquarters,
Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Dear Mr. Davies,
A few words to let you know that Bob is quite allright. I parted with him in Palestine. It was for the best that I did not bring him home with me, as I got torpedoed; on the way and 105 lives were lost.
Bob, or Robin Bach, as I used to call him, is looking A1, and enjoying excellent health, and as the fighting is now over in the East, Bob is quite safe, and some day in the near future he will march back to Tynymynydd.
I at all times found him a very good boy, a brave soldier, and a faithfull servant. With my kindest regards to you all,
Yours very sincerely,
Lieut. D. H. THOMAS.
Ymunodd Bob a'r fyddin yn fuan ar ôl toriad allan y rhyfel. Da gennym gael y fath ganmoliaeth iddo.
