MR. JOHN BEAN. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The Utica (N. Y.) Morning Herald contains quite an extended obituary of John Bean, brother of Hugh Bean of Pickett, this county. The Herald says : "He was born and bred at Cynwyd, near Corwen, among the wild and picturesque hills of Wales. He went, as by accident to a Wesleyan chapel in the old country; God by His word and grace laid hold on his heart and conscience. He was converted and became a life-long follower of Jesus.

The keynote of his life was faithfullness - steady and constant fidelity in things great and small. He was faithfull to his worldly employers. For more than thirty years he has been employed in one of the wealthiest families of Utica, who have treated him with striking generosity and tender kindness up to the very end."
