MR. ELLIS E. JONES, SLATINGTON, LEHIGH, PENNSYLVANIA.

I Ellis E. Jones of the Borough of Slatington, Lehigh County, State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by at any time heretofore made.

And first, I direct that my body be decently intend in the Fair View Cemetery near Slatington, according to the rites and ceremonies of the Welsh Congregational Church, and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life.

As to such estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with, being real, personal or mixed I order that my herein after named Executor shall convert into cash my real estate to be sold on public sale to the highest and best bidder and a deed given by my hereinafter executor to the said purchaser of said property, as soon after my death as practical, and when my property and estate is converted into cash and all my just debts and funeral expenses paid, then as to the balance remaining I order and diredt that my hereinafter named executor pay to my son John M. Jones the sum of five dollars and to my daughter Annie, intermarried with Robert R. Jones the sum of five dollars, as their portion or shares of my estate.

Item. All the rest and residue of my estate converted into cash, I give and bequeath unto the "Bethel" Congregation in the Borough of Slatington being the Church I worshiped during my natural lifetime, at and immediately before my death.

I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John I. Roberts as my executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I Ellis E. Jones, the testator have this day the First day of November A.D. 1888, set my hand and seal to the above within will.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by gthe above named Ellis E. Jones asa and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator and of each other. The words "rites" "estate" and "named" was interlined before signed.
