MR. ROBERT D. EDWARDS, BANGOR, LECROSSE, WISCONSIN.

Station Agent for the C. and N. W. R. R. Co., at Rockland; born in North Wales in 1822; his parents died in Wales; he came to the United States in 1850 ; came to Milwaukee, and thence to Waukesha County, where he was engaged as teacher in the Nashotah Espiscopal College for three years; thence to Cambria, Columbia County, where he engaged in teaching; afterward engaged in farming. He removed to Monroe County in 1861, where he engaged in teaching and farming; settled in the town of Burns in the spring of 1875; has been Station Agent since July, 1878.

He married Jane Hughes, and has three children — Samuel D., B. F., an operator at Fummit, and Jane.

Mr. Edwards was educated in London, where he taught many years previous to his coming to the United States.
