MR. THOMAS S. JONES. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

I, Thomas S. Jones of Utica, New York, do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say :

First : I direct that all my lawful debts and funeral expenses be paid, and I hereby authorize and direct my executors hereinafter named to expend at least two hundred dollars for a monument on my burial lot.

Second : All the rest, residue and remainder of any property and estate, real, personal and mixed, I give, bequeath and devise unto my friends Henry Bowen and Susan Bowen his wife in common, or to the survivor of them.

Third : I hereby nominate and appoint the said Henry Bowen and Susan Bowen executors of this my last Will and Testament, and I hereby give and grant unto them or the survivor of them full power and authority to sell, grant and convey any and all real estate of which I may die seized and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of November 1897.

The foregoing instrument was by the said Thomas S. Jones subscribed in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us, and he at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last Will and Testament, and we at his request have signed our names as witnesses hereto in his presence and in the presence of each other and written opposite our names and respective places of residence.
