MARY WILLIAMS THOMAS. SCRANTON, LACKWANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.
Mrs. Mary Thomas, widow of the late Captain William Thomas, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Morris Williams, 511 South Hyde Park Avenue, at 4.30 o'clock yesterday morning. She had been suffering for the past four years of progressive paralysis. The serious part of her sickness was the past week as she was apparently well a week ago yesterday.Deceased was born in Carnarvonshire, North Wales, in 1834. She had resided on this side for six years. During that time she had endeared herself to a host of friends. Mrs. Thomas was a faithful member of the Welsh Calvanistic Methodist Church. One daughter survives.
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 p.m. Internment will be in Washburn Street Cemetery.
