MRS. GWEN E. ELLIS GRIFFITHS. MARCY, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
August 17th - The death of Mrs. Gwen E. Griffiths, widow of Rev. John I. Griffiths occurred at the home of C. H. Evans in this place at 10 o’clock on Tuesday night.Last spring she fell and sustained an injury which caused her decline.
Mrs. Griffiths, whose maiden name was Gwen Ellis, was born in Wales 80 years ago. She had been in America since her girlhood and for the past thirty years had resided in Camroden.
Her husband died twelve years ago. She leaves two brothers, Thomas Ellis of Whitesboro, Elias Ellis, near Kansas City, Missouri.
