MR. THOMAS R. JONES, UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
In the name of God, Amen.I Thomas R. Jones of the town of Steuben County of Oneida and State of New York, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory. Blessed by Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
Firstly. I give to my beloved wife Mary Jones all my estate both real and personal (except my wearing apparel), during her life.
Secondly. I give to my beloved son William, all my wearing apparel.
Thirdly. I give and bequeath for ever to my son Griffith all my estate, both personal and real (except my said wearing apparel above mentioned) after the decease of my said beloved wife Mary Jones.
And lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my said beloved son Griffith and said beloved wife Mary Jones, to be the sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by us made.
In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six. The mark of Thomas R. Jones.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by above mentioned Thomas R. Jones to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in presence of the Testator.
