MR. WILLIAM EVANS. REMSEN, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
In the name of God, Amen.I, William Evans of the town of Western in the county of Oneida and state of New York, of the age of sixty four years and being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say,
I give and bequeath to my wife Grace Evans all my personal estate, goods and chattels of what nature and kind soever to be used and enjoyed by her during the term of her natural life, and from and immediately after the decease of my said wife I give and devise the same to my children in the following manner.
First. I give and beqeath to my son Evan the sum of two hyndred dollars.
Second. I give and bequeath to my son Hugh the sum of two hundred dollars.
Third. I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret the sum of two humdred dollars.
Fourth. I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann the sum of two hundred dollars.
Fifth. I give and bequeath to my daughter Eleanor the sum of two hundred dollars.
Lastly. I give and bequeath to my said wife, to be disposed of at her decease as she may will and devise, all the resr, residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of what nature or kind soever if any there be after paying the above legacies to my children.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 17 day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine.
