MR. HUGH H. HUGHES. REMSEN, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
I Hugh H. Hughes, of the Town of Remsen, in the County of Oneida, and State of New York, of the age of seventy four, and being of sound mind and memory, and mindful of the uncertainties of human life, do make publish and declare, this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following to wit :First . After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Hughes, the sum of one thousand dollars, and also such of the household furniture as she may choose to have for her own use.
Second. I give and bequeath to my three daughters, Mary wife of David Pugh and Margaret wife of James Hughes and Catherine wife of Edward E. Williams, all of the rest residue and remainder of my Estate, both real and personal to be equally divided between them.
Third. I hereby nominate and appoint my three said daughters, to be the sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of December, Eighteen hundred, and seventy seven.
The above instrument was signed, published and declared, by the said Hugh H. Hughes, to be his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who have signed our names at his request as witnesses, in the presence of him, and in the presence of each other.
