Daeth i'r wlad hon dros dri ugain mlynedd yn ôl, ac felly yr oedd yn un o'r rhai hynaf yn mysg ein hen sefydlwyr. Daeth yma o Sir Gaernarfon.

Yr oedd yn gymydog caredig, yn ddyn gonest a chywir, ac yn ddarllenwr mawr iawn ar y Beibl. Duw fendithio ei blant sydd yn galaru ar ei ôl.

Claddwyd ef dydd Sadwrn yn mynwent Prospect, pryd y gweinyddwyd ar yr achlysur gan y Parchn. J. Seth Jones (B.) yn Gymraeg a R. Evaus yn Saesneg.

MR. JOHN I. RICHARDS. REMSEN, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

I, John I. Richards, of the Town of Remsen, County of Oneida and State of New York, being of sound mind, do make this my last Will and Testament, as follows :

After paying my lawful debts, and funeral expenses, I will and bequeath to my daughter Margaret, the wife of of William E. Jones, the sum of one hundred dollars, and the remainder of my Estate is to be divided equally between my children, share and share alike, namely; as follows, William Richards, Richard Richards, Mary Thomas wife of Richard W. Thomas, Griffith Richards, Margaret Jones, the wife of William E. Jones and Owen J. Richards, the child or children of a deceased child to take the share of their parent the same as if living.

I hereby appoint William E. Jones of Steuben, Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
