MRS. MARY JONES. WHITESBORO STREET, UTICA, NEW YORK.

Awst 12fed, 1884, yn 70 mlwydd oed, Mary, priod Mr. "William Jones, Mason," 41 Whitesboro Street, Utica, New York, diweddar o New Hartford.

Genedigol oedd Mrs. Jones o Ddolgellau, ond yr oedd yn y wlad hon er yn 17 oed. Bu yn byw yn Utica, ac yn nghymydogaeth New Hartford, am agos i 10 mlynedd, ac yr oedd iddi air da fel boneddiges garedig a haelionus. Yr oedd yn aelod o eglwys Bethesda; a'r blynyddau diweddaf, dangosodd ffyddlondeb mawr gydag achos crefydd.

Yr oedd yn fam dirion a phriod hawddgar; a'r egwyddor Gristionogol a lywodraethai ei bywyd oedd - gwneyd i eraill fel y dymunai i eraill wneyd iddi hi. Deallwn i ddamwain â gyfarfu yn ystod selni ei mab (yr hwn a fu farw tua dau fis yn ôl) brysuro ei marwolaeth; a bu am lawer o amser dan arteithiau llymion.

Claddwyd hi y dydd Gwener canlynol, pryd y gweinyddwyd gan y Parch. Dr. Gwesyn Jones.

Y Drych ~ Awst 21ain 1884.
