MR. WILLIAM THOMAS KNOWLES. BOSTON, SUFFOLK, MASSECHUSETTS.

Early yesterday morning the body of a man was found on the mud flats off Maverick St. near Cottage St. East Boston, and from wounds about the head and body it was a t first thought that the man had met with foul play. The body has been identified as that of William Thomas of 107 Orleans Street, East Boston.

The remains when found were taken to the North Grove Street morgue and were later examined by medical examiner Harris. This examination seemed to prove that the man had died from natural causes, and the remains were turned over to the family for burial.

The supposition id that the man had fallen from the Wood Island footbridge and had sustained the cuts on his body from the fall.

By occupation Thomas was a moulder. He was 43 years of age.
