Mrs. Carrie Thomas, widow of Robert R. Thomas, died at the home of her daughter at 322 Exchange Street yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

She was 85 years old and leaves a son, Robert Thomas, living on Phoenix Creek, and the daughter with whom she was living at the time of her death, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas. Both the mother and daughter had recently moved to town from south Emporia.
