MR. HUGH WILLIAMS, MILWAUKEE.

Hugh Williams, formerly of this city, died last Saturday evening at his home in Mailwaukee, in his 36th year, after several weeks of suffering, from anaemia. He emigrated to the United States about fifteen years ago from Dyffryn, Merionethshire, North Wales, and settled near Union Grove, this county. He subsequently engaged in railroading with the C.M and St. P. Railway, first asd a brakeman and later on as freight and passenger conductor, until his health failed last fall. Ever since he has been a patient sufferer, never complaining, nor murmuring - his great concern was for the dear ones he would leave behind to fight the hard battles of life.

He was married to Cassie Thomas, May 23rd 1900, also of this city, who with two young children, are bereft of a husband and father, and who will receive the deepest sympathy of all. He also leaves one brother, Griffith Williams, plasterer of this city, one brother in Wales, and a large circle of aquaintances and friends. His demise in the very prime of manhood with favourable prospects, is greatly mourned and will be sorely lamented by all with whom he came into contact.

The funeral will be under the auspices of Excelsior Lodge of Masons of Milwaukee, and the body will be brought to Racine for burial on Wednesday, by special car, the funeral taking place at 2pm on that day, from the Welsh Presbyterian church on Villa street, Racine. Commandery No. 7 will turn out as an escort to the Milwaukee lodge.
