RICHARD R. JONES. POULTNEY, COUNTY, VERMONT.
Richard was born in Penmachno, North Wales. A respected resident of the community, he lived here for over 30 years. He died at his home in the north part of the township.He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Evan Williams of Granville and Miss Maggie Jones of Poultney as well as two sons, William R. Jones of Wells and Evan R. Jones of Poultney.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, November 25, 1908, burial being made in Poultney Cemetery.

Their names are on the back of the marker of Winifred Jane Jones, who is listed as their daughter. Winifred died Feb 3rd, 1878 at the age of 18 years. Also listed there is John Owen Jones, son, who died Sept 24th, 1895, age 25 years. Their son Evan R. Jones, 1872 - 1956, is named on a marker directly next to them.
