MR. JOHN T. LLOYD, RACINE, WISCONSIN.
John T. Lloyd died at 1.15 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph G. Tucker, 1024 Franklin street of grip.Mr. Lloyd was born near Bala, Merioneth, North Wales and was 83 years of age last August.
In 1849 he emigrated to America and settled in Racine, and with the exception of nineteen years, which he spent in Patagonia, Argentine Republic, he lived here.
By trade he was a brick mason. He was an ardent member of the Welsh Presbyterian church. His wife died forty one years ago and there survives him only one daughter, Mrs. Joseph G. Tucker, who will have the sympathy of all in her hour of affliction. Mr. Lloyd was a quiet man, but honest and upright and greatly respected by all who knew him.
The funeral will take place from the house at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
