JOHN J. OWENS. FAIRHAVEN, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
John J. Owens died Friday night at 10 o'clock after an illness of nine months.He was born in Brynllys, Bethesda, North Wales, 70 years ago and coming to this country when he was a young man he engaged in the slate business in which he was very successful.
He is survived by two daughters Misses Sarah and Margaret, both of this place.
He was a member of the True Ivorites and also of Eureka Lodge No 75, F and A. M.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Welsh Presbyterian church. Eureka lodge will attend in a body and will have charge of the services at the grave.
