JOHN H. THOMAS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
John H. Thomas, for many years a resident of this town, died at his home on Church Street on Friday, after a long period of ill health.He is survived by his wife, four sons, John, Evan and Owen of this place, Hugh of Granville, and two daughters, Mrs. Robert R. Williams of College Street and Mrs. William S. Jones of Hampton.
The funeral was held from the house on Sunday afternoon, Rev. John W. Morris officiating.
The bearers were the four sons and two sons-in-law. Burial was made in Poultney.
