MARGARET OWENS. MIDDLE GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Sunday afternoon at her home on Gould Street of this village, Mrs. Margaret Williams passed away, after a lingering illness extending over many weeks.Mrs. Williams was born in Llanberis, Wales, seventy-five years ago and came to America in 1852.
She has been a respected resident og this village for over fifty years. Mrs. Williams has five living children; William of Middle Granville; George of Hayward, Dakota; Hugh of Watervliet; Herbert of Schenectady; Mrs. George McCreadie of Albany; one sister, Mrs. Harriet Jones of Fair Havan and nine grandchildren.
Mrs Williams was one of the oldest Welsh residents of this locality. She had made a home for his son and his two children for the past twelve years. Of a particularly social nature she will be greatly missed by her friends as well as her family.
The funeral was held at the C.M. church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W. D. Thomas officiating. Internment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
