MISS ELLEN JONES. UTICA ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Miss Ellen Jones passed away this noon at the home of her brother, Evan Jones, 404 Mortimer street, after several years of falling health. She had been confined to her bed for six months.Miss Jones had many friends in this city by whom she was highly regarded ans well liked and her passing will be a source of keen regret to them.
She was born in Harlech, North Wales, 49 years ago and came to this country in 1883 with her mother Mrs. Jones and other members of the family. She settled in this city and had made her home here since that time. She was a member of the Coke Memorial Church and was active in the societies connected with the church.
Besides her mother she is survived by three brothers, A. C. Jones of Buffalo, Evan Jones of Utica and Owen D. Jones of Schenectady, and several nieces and nephews.
