MRS. ELLEN LONG SLATINGTON, LEHIGH COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.
I Ellen L. Jones, widow, of the Borough of Slatington, County of Lehigh and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding and considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do hereby make and publish this as and for my last Will and Testament.First. I order and direct that my funeral be conducted in accordance with my situation in life, and in accordance with the customs of the Church to which I belong.
Second. I order and direct that my funeral expenses and debts be paid by my hereinafter named Executors as soon as convenient after my death.
Third. All my property, real, personal and mixed, remaining after payment of my debts and funeral expenses, I do hereby give, devise and bequeath unto John H. Jones, Pierce H. Jones and Robert L. Jones absolutely.
Fourth. The reason that I have exclude my daughter Lizzie L. Williams from participating in the distribution of my estate after my death, is because she in her lifetime received an amount which is equivelent to and in excess of the amount which is now bequeathed and devised unto my said three sons above named to whom I have given my residuary estate.
Lastly. I nominate my three sons, John H. Jones, Pierce H. Jones and Robert L. Jones, Executors of this my last will and testament.
