JOHN T. MORRIS. SLATINGTON, LEHIGH, PENNSYLVANIA.

John T. Morris, a highly respected citizen of Slatington, died at his home, 28 North Street, yesterday at 10.30 o'clock of tuberculosis, aged 56 years, 3 months and 22 days.

He has been a resident of Slatington for many years and was engaged in the slate business. An illness of one year and seven months preceded his death, the last four months of which he was confined to bed. He made an herioc fight for life and spent months in the sanatorium at Hamburg.

He is survived by his widow, Sarah (nee Roberts), and the following children, Mrs. Harris Baumer, Cedarville; Thomas, John, Morris, Catherine, Robert, Sarah and Winefred, Slatington. One brother, Richard, survives in Wales.

The deceased was a member od Slatington Chamber, No. 6, Order of Knights of Friendship.

The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house with services continued at the Welsh Presbyterian church, Rev. John Williams, pastor. Internment will be made in Fairview cemetery Slatington.
