WILLIAM P. WILLIAMS. SLATINGTON, LEHIGH, PENNSYLVANIA.

William P. Williams, one of Slatington's oldest Odd Fellows and among the pioneer slate manufacturers in that region, died at his home, 419 South street, aged eighty years and twenty one days early on Thursday morning.

The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock. Services will be conducted at the house by Rev. Williams and Rev. Johns. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery Slatington.

Mr. Williams was born in Wales and came to this country many years ago. He settled in Slatington where he has since made his home. He was prominently identified in Odd Fellow circles throughout the Lehigh Valley, and was one of the charter members of Slatington Lodge of Odd Fellows, No. 624.

He is survived by his widow and these children : John Williams, Allentown; Mrs. David Jones, New York; Ellis and Annie Williams, Slatington.
