Farmer Sec. 15; P.O. Cambria: Pastor of Welsh Presbyterian Church of Jerusalem, on Sec 15; born in Dolwyddelan Parish in Wales, April 29th, 1841; son of Owen G. Jones and Ann (Jones) Jones, she being a daughter of John Roberts; came here in 1847.Married, February 12th, 1870, by Rev. Rees Evans, to Maggie Jones, daughter of John W. and Elizabeth (Jones) Jones, and who died July 29th, 1870.
Commenced preaching in 1875 to a congregation of forty five, which now numbers fifty five; Side Supervisor two years; Chairman two years; charter member of Jerusalem Lodge of Good Templars (organised January 26th, 1875, with nineteen members, and numbering thirty five), and is also State Deputy. Owns 160 acres.
