ELIZABETH H. ROBERTS. GRANVILLE, NEW YORK
The death of Elizabeth H. Roberts occurred Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Potter. Mrs. Roberts was born in Bethesda, North Wales, in 1852 and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Jones.After the death of her father she came to America with her mother when four years of age.
For many years she lived with Dr. and Mrs. Marshall of Middle Granville, where she still resided after her marriage to Mr. Roberts. Nine years ago she was stricken with paralysis, two days before the death of her husband. Those who knew her as neighbor of friend were very fond of her.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl W. Seaver of Williamston, Vermont, and Mrs. Edna Potter and one son Howell G. Roberts of this village, besides a sister Mrs. Thomas Evans and brother William Jones, both of Middle Granville.
The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Potter, the Rev. W. O. Williams officiating, and the burial took place in Elmwood cemetery, Middle Granville.
