JOHN B. EVANS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
J. B. Evans, age forty-one years, died Friday evening of chronic nephritis. He is survived by his wife and one daughter.The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at the Welsh Church, Rev. J. M. Morris, pastor, assisted by Rev. J. D. Owens of Fair Haven officiating.
The bearers were were John Thomas, O. P. Jones, T. O. Jones, H. R. Hughes, G. E. Edwards and Hugh Jones. Burial was in Poultney Cemetery. Arthur Lodge No. 62, A.T.I., assisted at the service at the grave. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were J. B. Griffith, Mrs. T. Evans of West Pawlet, Mrs. Griffith Williams, Mrs. D. O. Roberts of Granville, Mr. and Mrs. David Lloyd and two daughters.
