At 1.30 o'clock Tuesdat afternoon Mrs. Maud Hinckley of Penryn became the wife of Thomas Griffith, prominent business man of the same place.The ceremony took place in the parochial residence of the Rev. Father Lande, pastor od St. Joseph's Church of Cupertino, Santa Clara County.
Only the immediate members of the bride's family were present.
After the wedding dineer served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Philip Hayes, the couple left for San Francisco.

Tom Griffith died at Penryn last Saturday.He was a native of Wales, aged 57 years, and is survived by his widow.
Deceased was the son of Griffith Griffith, the founder of the town of Penryn, and was the brother of the late David Griffith.
Tom Griffith was a mighty good man, a loyal citizen and a true friend.
The funeral was held in the Methodist Church, Auburn, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. and was attended by a large concourse of friends.
