ENOCH WELDON WILLIAMS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.

Enoch Weldon Williams, 78, died very suddenly at 9 o'clock Sunday morning at his home on Furnace street, his death being caused by a shock.

Mr. Williams was the son of Enoch and Elizabeth Williams and was born in Bethesda, Wales , on June 17th, 1850. He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage on January 24th, 1893, was Miss Katherine Edwards. Five years ago they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Mr. Williams had resided in this town and Hampton, New York, for a great many years. He was a slatemaker, but had been obliged to give up work on account of ill health. He was a member of Arthur Lodge, American True Ivorites.

The funeral will be held at his late home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
