ROBERT R. THOMAS. FULLERTON, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.

Robert R. Thomas was born in Caellwyngrydd, Wales August 2, 1856. His Parents were Robert Thomas and Catherine Morris.

As a boy he worked in the coal mines in Wales. The boys were sent in the mines to work underground because the tunnels could be smaller. Robert came to the United States with his parents and sister. They came from Wales in 1866.

Robert and Eugenia Adams were married on April 11, 1882 in Gunnison City, Colorado. They had 5 Children.

In 1929 Robert was operated on for throat cancer. After the operation Robert and Eugenia moved to Fullerton on N. Newell to be near his doctor and three daughters. He died of cancer of the larynx March 16th, 1929 and is buried in Loma Vista Cemetery in Fullerton, California.
