CATHERINE JANE EVANS JONES. BARNEVELD, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

Mrs. Katherine Evans Jones passed away at her home in Barneveld, Wednesday at 8pm, after an illness of several months.

She was born in Penygroes Caernarvonshire, North Wales April 30th,1864, coming to this country with her parents when a young girl. She resided at Holland Patent and later moved to Remsen, where she had resided for a number of years, moving to Barneveld nine years ago. She was a member of Peniel Church.

She was married to David E. Jones January 2nd, 1888, in Remsen. She leaves four sons, David, Holland Patent; Price, Floyd; Ernest, Barneveld; Hobart, Barneveld; two daughters Bernice, Barneveld; Mrs. Fred Morgan, Clinton; four granddaughters; Dorothea, Anne, and Glenyce Jones and Doris Morgan, four sisters, Mrs. Elias Hughes of Dawn Colorado; Mrs. R.E. Charles of Remsen; Mrs. F.E. Gainsway, of Remsen; Mrs. James Vanderhoff of Corning Iowa; three brothers, E.T. Evans of Elizabeth Colorado; Thomas T. Evans, of Utica; Fred M. Evans of Wild Horse Colorado.
