MRS. ELLEN JONES. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, NEW YORK.
The death of Mrs. Rowland D. Jones occurred at her home Thursday, April 3rd, after a few weeks illness. She was forty eight years of age, born in Bethesda, North Wales, the daughter of Ann Jones and John G. Jones. She was married to Rowland D. Jones, twenty six years ago, two sons, John Arvon Jones and David H. Jones, and one daughter Mrs. Olwen Williams being born to them.She came to this country one year and 10 months ago, residing on Franklin avenie, where she died.
She was a member of the Welsh Presbyterian church here.
The survivors are her husband, Rowland D. Jones, the children above mentioned, sister, Mrs. William C. Morris of this place and two brothers, John M. Jones of West Pawlet and a brother and sister in Wales.
The funeral was held Monday, Revs. E. Arvon Jones, T. L. Joseph and Richard Owen officiating. The bearers were David W. Pritchard, Humphrey Griffiths, Richard Roberts, Richard Pritchard, David Richards and George Evans. The burial was in Mettowee cemetery.
