WILLIAM EVAN PARRY. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of William Parry occurred Friday morning at his home here in Middle Granville.

Mr. Parry was born in North Wales, coming to Middle Granville several years ago.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon.

WILLIAM EVAN PARRY. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

William E. Parry, Middle Granville, passed away Friday morning, January 24th, after a long illness. Mr. Parry was a native of North Wales, born in Rhiwlas, August 1874. He came to this country in 1907. Except for a short time spent in Virginia, he lived in Middle Granville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Parry, son Richard Parry, Middle Granville and daughter Miss Olwen Parry, Suffern, New York, also a sister, Mrs. Mary Parry, New York City.

The funeral services which were largely attended, were held Sunday afternoon in the Welsh Presbyterian Church here of which he was a member, being an elder, secretary and chorister for many years. Rev. Richard J. Owen, pastor, officiated assisted by the Revs. T. L. Joseph, Granville and Baldwin Davies, South Poultney.

Internment was at the Mettowee Valley Cemetery, Granville.

The bearers were: William Hughes, Owen R. Jones, Middle Granville; Thomas Pickering, John Lewis, Richard Roberts and Harry K. Williams, Granville. The floral tributes were many and beautiful.

Edwards and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Roberts and family, Mrs. Etta Pritchard and son, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Price, Miss Mamie Price, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Pritchard, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas, Granville, Lewis Jones, West Pawlet.
