MR. EVAN J. JONES, GRANVILLE, NEW YORK.
GRANVILLE, NEW YORK, February 15th 1931.The death of Evan J. Jones, 61, occurred at his home Friday evening after an illness of a week. Jones had been in failing health for the past year following an operation.
He was a native of Talysarn, Carnarvonshire, North Wales, but had lived in Granville for many years.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Mae Wilkie of Granville, two sons, Llewellyn Jones of Glens Falls, New York, and William J. of Granville, two sisters in North Wales, and four grandchildren, Florence, Robert, Ann and Junior Wilkie of Granville. He was a member of the Tru Ivorites of America, and the Modern Woodmen of America.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Welsh Presbyterian church in Granville, Rev. Richard J. Owens and E. Arfon Jones, officiating. Burial will be in the White Church cemetery at West Pawlet.
