KATE JONES. GRANVILLE, NEW YORK.

GRANVILLE, NEW YORK, June 5th, 1932. - Mrs. Frank L. Jones, sr., 65, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at her home on North Maple street. She had been in failing health for the past few years and about three weeks ago fell in the bathroom of her home, fracturing her hip.

She was a native of Bethesda, North Wales, and had lived in Granville and West Pawlet for many years. She was a member of the Welsh Presbyterian church in Granville.

Survivors are her husband, Frank L. Jones, three sons, Frank L. Jones, jr., and Glen Jones of Granville, Hugh Jones of North Granville; daughter Mrs Paul Koch of Glens Falls, New York; several grandchildren; a niece, Mrs. William O. Morris, of Granville; a nephew, John M. Jones, of West Pawlet and several relatives in Wales.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Samuel E. Prytherch, pastor of the Welsh Presbyterian church, officiating.

KATE JONES. GRANVILLE, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Kate Jones, aged sixty-five years, wife of Frank L. Jones, Sr., of Granville occurred Saturday morning at 8 o'clock, at her home on North Maple Street. Mrs. Jones had been in failing health for more than a year and four weeks ago fell, fracturing her hip. She was treated at the Emma Laing Stevens Hospital for one week and ten days ago was brought to her home, where she was tenderly cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Paul Koch of Glens Falls.

Mrs. Jones was born May 18th, 1867, in Bethesda, North Wales, the daughter of Griffith and Ella Jones. She came to this country when twenty years of age and was married August 22nd, 1887, to Frank L. Jones, the ceremony taking place in Poultney and being performed by Rev. Henry Parry.

Mr. and Mrs. Parry made their home in North Poultney for five years; then came to Granville and after residing in this village for a time, went to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Later they moved to West Pawlet and fourteen years ago came to Granville, where they have since made their home.

To them were born four children, three sons, Frank Jr., Hugh and Glyn of Granville, and one daughter, (Anna) Mrs. Paul Koch of Glens Falls, all of whom survive. Other survivors are four grandchildren, Francis, Woodrow and Owen Leonard Jones of Granville, and Catherine Koch of Glens Falls; two sisters and one brother in Wales, and a sister, Mrs. Hugh Thomas of Utica; a nephew, John M. Jones of West Pawlet; niece, Mrs. William O. Morris of Granville.

Mrs. Jones was amember of the Welsh Presbyterian Church and of its various organizations; also a Lady Forester and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was devoted to her family, a considerate neighbor and friend. She will be missed by a wide circle who mourn her passing.

The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from the Prebyterian Church, the pastor Rev. Samuel Prytherch and Rev. Richard owen officiating. Burial was in the Mettowee Valley Cemetery. The bearers were Thomas Rowlands, Owen Williams, David W. Pritchard, John Jones, David Owens and John R. Hughes.
