The funeral of Mrs. Elias Thomas, 76, of North Poultney, who died on Fruday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John J. Hughes of Schenectady, New York, was held Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. Elwyn Roberts in this village. Rev. John D. Owens of Fair Haven officiated.

The bearers were Rowland Whittington, Harry Parry, Benjamin Owens, James Cull, Francis Williams and Richard Parry. Burial was in Cedar Grove cemetery in Fair Haven.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. J. J. Hughes of Schenectady, Mrs. Roberts of Poultney, Mrs Elizabeth Pritchard of Easton, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Katherine Williams of Schenectady, and three sons, Elias M. Thomas of North Poultney, John Thomas and William R. Thomas of Windgap, Pennsylvania.
