MISS SARA ELLEN OWENS. FAIR HAVEN, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
Relatives from Granville, who attended the funeral services for Miss Sara Ellen Owens, conducted on Saturday afternoon from St. Luke's church at Fair Haven included William Owens, David Owens and son, William Owens and Mr. and Mrs. G. Owens and Robert Owens.The death of Miss Owens, who was well known here, occurred Wednesday at her home in Fair Haven following a seven months illness.
She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Owens, born in Bethesda, North Wales, coming to this country when three months old.
She was a charter member of Fair Haven chapter O. E. S. Court Haven, I. O. F. and Holy Rebekah lodge of Fair Haven of which she held office since the lodge was instituted.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Margaret Jones of Fair Haven.
