MRS. JANE ROBERTS EVANS, LINCOLN, NEBRASKA.

Jane Roberts Evans was born in Gerlan, Wales, and died in Lincoln June 24th, 1934. She was 74 years old.

Mrs. Evans came to America aged 10 years and married Evan Evans at Middle Granville, New York, June 19th 1878. Eight children were born.

In early girlhood, Mrs. Evans became a member of the Presbyterian church, and later became a member of the First Methodist church of Lincoln and the Methodist church at Carroll, Nebraska.

She became a resident of Lincoln in 1920, and was a member of the Past Matron's club of University Place.

Surviving are her husband, living in Lincoln, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Norfolk, Mrs. S. A. Richardson of Butte, Mrs. D. A. Nickerson of Medicine Bow Wyoming and Miss Ethel Evans of Lincoln; one son, Owen D. Evans of Denver, three brothers, Ellis Roberts and John Roberts of Granville New York and David R. Roberts of Prairie City, Oregon; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held in Lincoln, June 26th with Rev. Iva M. Innis officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery Norfolk.
