ELIZABETH H. ROBERTS. MIDDLE GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Elizabeth H. Roberts, 60, occurred at her home in Rutland, Tuesday evening following several months' illness.

She was the daughter of the late William W. and Margaret Pritchard of Granville, born in Cwm y Glo, North Wales, coming to this country with her parents at an early age and settling in Middle Granville. At the age of eighteen, she was united in marriage with William R. Roberts of Middle Granville and to them were born six children, all of whom survive, William of Springfield, Vermont; Robert of Los Angeles, California; Gordon of Detriot, Michigan; Ella McFarland of Pontiac, Michigan; Ruth Hagerman of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Elizabeth Hager of Wallingford, Vermont.

She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Owen D. Roberts and one brother, George Pritchard, both of Granville.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon from her home at Rutland, Rev. Frank W. Grippin, pastor of the Methodist Church of which she was a faithful member, officiating.

The bearers were Glyn Roberts, William Roberts, Morris Roberts, Evan G. Williams and Evan Roberts of Poultney and David O. Roberts of Glens Falls.

During the service, "Lead Kindly Light," was sung by Evan G. Williams of Poultney. Members of the Mary Noe Circle of King's Daughters of the Methodist Church attended in a body. Among the floral tributes were set pieces from the Mary Noe Circle of King's Daughters and sons of the Methodist church, neighbors, Altrurian class of the First Methodist church, Howe Scales company and many others.

Friends and relatives were present from Michigan, Suffern, Astoria, Utica, Boston, Massachusetts and Rutland.

The burial was in Elmwood cemetery at Middle Granville, where Rev. Mr. Grippin conducted the committal service.
