MARGARET ROBERTS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Roberts, 53, of Granville, occurred Saturday morning at her home following an illness of six weeks.

She was born in Tremadog, North Wales, June 25th, 1882, the daughter of Richard E. Thomas and Elizabeth Griffith Thomas. She came to Granville from Wales forty-six years ago, where she has since resided. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and of the Foresters lodge.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Georgia Roberts, two brothers, John and Richard Thomas of Granville and several nieces and nephews.

A prayer at the home preceded the funeral services conducted Tuesday afternoon from Trinity Episcopal church of which she was a member, Rev. Father Henry Hogg officiating. The Welsh Male Quartet sang two selections, "Abide With Me," and "Lead Kindly Light." Emlyn Edwards, who served as organist accompanied; also played the funeral march preceding and at the close of the impressive service. The church was filled with mourning relatives and friends.

The bearers were Joseph Ellis, John S. Jones, William Evans, P. T. Moore, Robert R. Roberts and Louis E. Krouse.

The internment was in the family plot at the White church cemetery in West Pawlet.
