OWEN HUGH WILLIAMS. CAMBRIDGE, WASHINGTON CO, NEW YORK.
The death of Owen Hugh Williams of Granville occurred Tuesday afternoon of acute nephritis at the Cabbridge Hospital where he entered seven weeks following a year of poot health.He was born in Wales sixty-eight years ago, the son of Hugh and Elizabeth Williams. He came to the United States forty years ago and has passed most of that time in Granville.
He was united in marriage with Miss Nellie Warren, whose death occurred in 1894, leaving an infant daughter, Lucille, now Mrs. Gordon Owens of Utica, who survives. Mr. Williams married for his second wife Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, who survives, together with a step-son, Llewelyn Jones of Granville, several grandchildren and one brother, Hugh of Utica.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon from the residence, Rev. William Barlow, pastor of the Baptist church of which he was a member, officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at Middle Granville.

The funeral services of Owen Hugh Williams, 68, of Granville, whose death occurred Tuesday afternoon, August 27th, at the Cambridge Hospital, where he was entered seven weeks previous following poor health for the past year, were conducted Friday afternoon from his late home on Potter Avenue, Rev. William Barlow, pastor of the Baptist church of which he was a member, officiated.The bearers were Fred Potter, David Pritchard, Harry K. Williams, Rees G. Williams, William Roberts and Owen G. Jones.
The internment was in Elmwood Cemetery at Middle Granville. There were many beautiful floral tributes showing the high esteem in which he was held. Mr. Williams possessed an upright character and was kind and thoughtful. He was deeply interested in church activities and active in its service and will be greatly missed by many friends.
