ELIAS W. ROBERTS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
The death of Elias W. Roberts occurred at his home in North Poultney, earkt Sunday morning following a short illness.Mr. Roberts sustained a shock a few weeks ago from which he never rallied.
He is survived by his wife, one son, William Roberts, with whom he resided, one grandaughter, Miss Edith Roberts and one grandson, Harold Roberts.
He was born in Groeslon, North Wales, June 30th, 1856, coming to the United States when he was young.
The funeral services were held Wednesday with a service at the home at 1 o'clock and at the Welsh church in Poultney at 2 o'clock with burial in the Poultney Cemetery.
