MR. THOMAS H. ROBERTS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
January 24th, 1936.Thomas H. Roberts, 74 died this afternoon at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ray Barden in Rupert, Vermont, after a short illness.
He was a native of Bethesda, North Wales, and had resided in the Granville vicinity for the past 50 years, where he followed his trade as a slatemaker.
He was a member of the Oddfellows and the Foresters.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary R. Scheneider of Albany and Mrs. Ray Barden of Rupert, Vermont; three sons, Hugh Roberts of Albany, William E. Roberts and Thomas H. Roberts jr. of Granville and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house with Rev. Samuel E. Prydderch, pastor of the Granville Welsh Presbyterian church officiating.
Burial will be in Mettowee Valley cemetery.
