ELIZABETH FRANCIS WILLIAMS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
The funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, 68, who died September 28th, at her home in Jackson Heights, Long Island, were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Pelton in Granville, October 2nd. Rev. William Barlow officiated with burial in the Mettowee cemetery in the family plot. Mrs. Williams had been ill since January with a heart ailment.The love and esteem in which she was held was evident by the large attendance and the beautiful floral tributes from many relatives and friends who came to pay their last respects to her.
She was a devoted mother and a loyal and helpful friend to all who knew her. No sacrifice was too great for her to make and she was happiest when assisting others. Her passing will be greatly mourned and her loving memory will last forever.
Mrs. Williams, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Francis, was born in North Wales, August 29th, 1868. She came to this country with her parents in 1873 and resided during most of her life in Fair Haven.
Three daughters and one son survive, Mrs. Robert (Bertha) Pelton, Granville; Mrs. Jack (Altha) Roberts, Elmhurst, Long Island; Miss Madeline Williams and son Floyd Williams, both of Jackson Heights, Long Island. Children who have passed on are Raymond H. Williams of Granville and Mrs. Jean Ferguson of New York City. Four grandchildren survive, Ray Bliss, Rutland; Charlotte, Marilyn and Jackie Pelton of Granville.

Jones, New York City; Mrs. Griffith Jones and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, Rome; Francis Francis and the Misses Ruth and Eleanor Francis, Mrs. Clarence Lowery, all of Utica; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Francis and Mrs. Nell Parker, Fair Haven; Morris Francis, Rutland and Mrs. Frank McGrath of Albany; Mrs. Margaret Colville, Mrs. John Foley, Mrs. Thomas Pritchard, Mrs. John Woodward, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Broughton, Mrs. Ernest Spencer, Mrs. Arthur Hansen, all of Fair Haven.
