ROBERT JEFFREY. SILVER STAR, MADISON, MONTANA.

Robert Jeffrey, 73, a miner of Silver Star, Montana, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital, following an illness of pneumonia. He had been visiting with a sister, Mrs. W. A. Galbraith, of 220 Twenty-eighth street, since October 9th, and became ill Friday.

A son of David and Sarah Stuart Jeffrey, he was born in Llanberis, North Wales, March 10th, 1864, and came to the United States with his parents when a few weeks old.

He resided in Hydesville, Vermont, until 1888, when he moved to Wichita, Kansas. He later moved to New Mexico, and in 1897, to Silver Star. He had rei+sided there since with the exception of one year in Bizbee, Arizona. He was a member of the Episcopal church.

Surviving are a brother, John Jeffrey, Lowell, Arizona, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Hume, Enid, Oklahoma and Mrs. Galbraith.

Funeral arragements are under direction of Kirkendall-Darling mortuary.
