LAURA (JONES) ROBERTS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
The death of Mrs. Laura Roberts, 79, of Poultney, widow of Elias W. Roberts, occurred at the home of her son, William Roberts, Thursday afternoon after a short period of illness. Mrs. Roberts was a native of Wales but had been a resident of Poultney and vicinity for the past fifty-five years. Her husband passed away July 15th, 1936.The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of her son, Rev. Lemuel Jones officiating.
The burial was in Hillside Cemetery.
